That brings this particular After-School Agent story to a close. I hope you enjoyed it. Now Gordon is starting to wonder about Bernstein and his connection to his abilities and his situation. Things are getting more interesting for our little friend.
I want to give a huge thanks to Jeremy Dale for all of his hard work on this story. He did an amazing job. Jeremy was out at the San Diego Comic Con this past weekend. I hope he had a successful con. Go check out more of his work at his website:

As we speak Chris is hard at work on the next After-School Agent story. Chris came up with the whole thing and it’s very cool. The pages I’ve seen so far are outstanding.
Starting next week we’ll be having a series of pin-ups from Chris that I think you’ll all like.
Thanks again to all of our regular readers and commenters. We really appreciate your support. We have some exciting things in store for Gordon and his family in the next year. I think you’ll all really enjoy them. So please leave some comments below and let us know what you think.

Well my big news this week is that I got married on Saturday to the most wonderful woman in the world… Abby. We had an amazing ceremony and reception. I couldn’t have been happier. But my very talented wife managed to surprise me with the greatest gift ever. She wrote and performed a song for me at the reception that was beautiful beyond words. She continues to surprise me everyday with the depth of her gifts. I love her and can’t wait for every new day with her.
Also in attendance at our wedding was Chris, who was one of my groomsmen. I had posted a few weeks ago a drawing he had done for me. Well, I colored it and put in some text and we put it up on the name card table. And here it is…

Also, just by random chance, President Obama and his family were vactioning this weekend at the same hotel where Abby and I got married. The entire place was filled with Secret Service agents. It was a very surreal experience. And most of the guests, including Abby and I, got to see the First Family and Bo at some point. But we never did get to meet him in person. His invitation must have been lost in the mail. Oh well.
Enjoy this week’s post and next. The After-School Agent story and really moving forward now.

It’s the middle of summer and one of the best ways to beat the heat is to find a cool air conditioned room and a good book. Here are few that I’d recommend:
The Ameila Rules series:
http://www.ameliarules.com/home.php/
It’s the adventures of Ameila McBride and her friends as they navigate life in their middle school. I’ve seen it described as Peanuts meets Calvin and Hobbes. The series is hilarious and great for all ages. You can find them in almost any bookstore these days.
Y: The Last Man:
This series from writer Brian K. Vaughan follows Yorick, the only man who survives a mysterious plague that kills all of the men on Earth. Now he has to survive in a woman’s world.
Learn more about it here.
What would you recommend for a summer read?
And speaking of Calvin and Hobbes, I saw this the other day and it made me laugh…
FInally in a sad note, I want to send condolences to Gino Patti and his family. Gino’s brother Jerry passed away this past weekend and our thoughts and prayers are with the Pattis.

Today I wanted to spread the word about my friend David Kazzie’s hilarious new blog called The Corner. David is a great writer and has created some of my favorite stories ever. Now he’s focusing his sarcastic energies on chronicling the minutiae of daily life. I think you’ll really enjoy it. Check it out:

Just a quick post today. I wanted to share a piece of non-After-School Agent artwork with you. For my upcoming wedding, Chris gave me this very cool drawing of me and Abby in the Indiana Jones poster…
